February 2018 Meeting Announcement

Greetings AWS Central Louisiana Section Members & Friends,

Our January meeting was very informative; many members had not had the opportunity to
witness tensile testing being performed. A big thanks to Six C Fabrication for hosting our
January meeting and special thanks to Mr. Jimmy Swenson for his presentation and expertise.

Our next membership meeting will be on February 15, 2018, the meeting will be held at Quality Fabrication and Welding in Pineville LA.

Quality Fabrication and Welding is owned by Mr. William Spurgeon they provide all types of welding and quality custom steel fabrication, they also perform aluminum boat repair. This looks to be a very interesting and informative meeting where section member can tour a
working custom fabrication shop, so please plan on attending.
