Event Summary: Rockmount Research and Alloys’ Mark Wilson and Malachi Tangard delivered an engaging Technical Presentation and Hands-On Demonstration of their SMAW and FCAW Maintenance Electrodes. Attendees had the opportunity to test the various electrodes themselves following the presentation.
In addition to the technical showcase, Matthew Bartles, Deputy District Director for District 5, attended to present several prestigious awards. William Chamberlain was honored with the District 5 Educator of the Year Award. Ray Flannery received the Dalton E. Hamilton Memorial CWI of the Year Section Award. Jason Becker received both the District Meritorious Award and the Dalton E. Hamilton Memorial CWI of the Year Section Award.
The event also featured exciting raffles with prizes including Blue Demon GameChanger Gloves, a Victor Heavy Duty Torch Cutting Outfit, and a cash prize.
