The AWS Boston Section is a proud sponsor of the 2026 New Hampshire Welding Competition, hosted by Steel Fabricators of New England (SFNE), a part of American Institute of Steel Construction, to be held Friday, May 15, 2026, at Manchester Community College’s Welding Department.
There will be 10 New Hampshire schools attending this year’s event with a total of 30 students competing individually. The project this year will be SMAW and GMAW.
The top 3 students will receive a welding machine and other trade related tools and PPE!
All schools that attend will be granted a percentage of the cash prizes that have been donated for use in their shops for future growth of their curriculum.
