October 21, 2021 – West Fraser Mill; 2100 Industrial Blvd, Opelika, AL
Auburn – Opelika Section had the opportunity to visit West Fraser Mill on October the 21st.
The presentation and tour of the West Fraser Mill was led by Mr. Rodney Goldie. West Fraser is the largest lumber producer in North America. Welding is always taking place on the enormous structure of the mill as well as the band saw blades and radial arm saw blade teeth. This was one of the best interactive tours we have been on in a while.
