Event Summary: Lincoln Tech. held an open house to showcase their new welding lab . RACHEL LEE is an instructor who demonstrated their MILLER virtual welding machines . Student learn the techniques of welding and practice . Once they complete the classroom excercises ,then they get to go out to the welding lab to practice on real welding machines. THEY learn to set machines, and weld projects to move on to the next MOD. They have new booths with new equipment to train . They presently have 40 booths and already planning to add 20 more because of the need for welders . Their program is 9 months long and should be rolling out their 1st graduates by spring of next year.
