2018-19 Section Update

Dear AWS Alaska Members,

This is a short brief on upcoming 2018-19 AWS Alaska Section 125 tentative activities and plans.

First, I want to apologize for not communicating to you earlier this last summer.

We did not have any planned meetings for this last summer or a planned meeting for September.  Future meetings will be either shop visits or welding subject-matter-expert presentations.  I am currently working the details for an October meeting, and for future meeting dates, times and locations.  The October meeting will probably be mid-month, and will be announced after details are confirmed.

The AWS Alaska website has changed.  Click on the link below for new website –

When at the AWS Alaska website home page, the left side box will show the current 2018-19 Section Officers.
