Subject: AMET, Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technologies will be giving a presentation on Digital welding system controls and their use in the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Nuclear and general fabrication industries. AMET has been building turn-key integrated welding systems and digital controls for over 20 years and is located in Rexburg, ID. AMET is also an international company having locations in Beijing China that services the Asian market, and Cambridge UK that services the European markets. Digital control and welding processes to be covered in the talk will be:
- Narrow Gap Tandem Wire SAW systems and applications
- Variable Polarity GTAW, PAW applications
- Standard and Hot Wire GTAW systems and applications

Joel Weber is the fourth generation of his family to work in the welding industry and is the Eastern Regional Manager for AMET. Joel has been with AMET for three years and a member of AWS for 25 years.
