Jim also presented Section Educator Awards to Casey Ross and Terrance Shearn, both of Greenville Technical College. Also, Section Private Sector Instructor to Gene Crook and David Crook of Arclabs Welding School. Also, Section CWI of the Year to Kim Jackson and Wayland May.\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Event Summary:\u00a0<\/strong>Ushers invited AWS Western Carolina Section for dinner and a shop tour at Ushers Machine and Tool. Dinner was provided and a brief presentation about Ushers operations was given. Jim Thompson, AWS District 8 Director was in attendance and Section Awards were presented to winners. The shop tour was wonderful where Ushers showed the NDT room and procedures, GMAW and GTAW booths and finally, their Electron Beam Welding Machine. The tour was very informative and the facility was very clean and organized.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-66f03a3
