Dear Members, Instructors, Educators, and Students,

The Spokane Section of the AWS welcomes Teresa McHugh as the speaker for this year’s Ladies Night. Teresa is an artist based out of North Idaho who works with metals to create large and small sculptures inspired by nature. You have probably seen some of Teresa’s work at Spokane’s Tortilla Union, the 18-foot-high metal tree sculpture on the Centennial Trail in Coeur D’Alene, or her sculpture of water on the exterior of the Kootenai Medical Center. Teresa will be bringing some of her smaller pieces and talking to the group about her background, creative process, and welding (of course). .

You are invited to bring a guest for dinner and drinks, entertainment, and socializing. We will be in the Commons Room for a three course meal. There is metered street parking or a pay to park lot on the north side of the railroad tracks from the Steam Plant.
