This is a unique opportunity to see real-world manufacturing processes in action and gain insight into materials engineered for some of the toughest service environments.
WearTek is a Spokane-area metal casting foundry and machining facility specializing in high-integrity white iron and steel castings for wear-and heat-resistant applications across industries such as aggregate, power, and agriculture.
The tour will be led by Jerrod Miller, a metallurgist and technical leader at WearTek with extensive experience in foundry operations, process development, and materials engineering.
PPE Requirements:
Hard hats, safety glasses, and closed-toe shoes are required. PPE will be available on-site if needed; however, bringing your own is
recommended.
Please plan to arrive by 5:30 PM for food and networking prior to the tour.
