Our September speaker, Jim Wasson, has been in the industry since 1977 and has more than 20 years of special inspection experience. Jim will walk through how inspection and NDT requirements make their way from the building code to the jobsite, including:
How the IBC, AISC, and AWS requirements connect
When inspection is required
When NDT is required
AISC inspection requirements and hold points
Where to find the applicable requirements
What project teams and inspectors need to know
This meeting will be useful for project managers, supervisors, engineers, QA/QC personnel, fabricators, contractors, CWIs, and inspectors.
