Get ready for a unique and exciting Spokane AWS Section meeting! On Wednesday, November 19 at 5:30 PM, we’ll be heading to Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, Idaho for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. Dan Wanamaker, Silverwood’s Maintenance Director, will guide us through how the park’s rides are inspected, maintained, and repaired to meet strict safety and reliability standards. This is a rare chance to see the mechanical, structural, and welding work that keeps some of the Northwest’s biggest attractions running safely all season.
Meeting point: Employee Entrance on Bruno Rd, west of US-95 (Athol, ID).
PPE / notes: Closed-toe shoes required; safety glasses recommended. Photos may be limited in some areas.
