The event was held at the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke Va. While being the inaugural contest, the section had 9 entries to display. Along with the contestants, the event had parents, family, friends, instructors, AWS Directors and general public attend the event.\nAfter reception for everyone, the recognition of all the contest participants and awards were handed out to the winners.\nThe submissions were judged by Steve Bickley (Local Artist) and Dave Beazley (Metabo Manufacturers Rep).
