Hello AWS Sacramento Valley Section Members and Friends,
With assistance from MJB Welding Supply the Butte College Welding Technology program will be hosting the AWS Sacramento Valley Section Meeting on Nov 14. This meeting will feature Alan Lindgren who is currently a sales representative from Rankin Industries.
Alan began welding at the age of 7, while working with his dad in the garage. After completing high school Alan began his career with Berkley Forge and Tool, a prominent rebuilder and hardfacer of metallic parts used in the extraction of raw oil in the Tar Pits of Canada. Alan has become a renowned industry expert on hard facing and the welding of specialty alloys. He has worked with Rankin for 24 years and currently covers the sales of specialty alloys and hardfacing materials from Central California to Southern Oregon, and parts of Nevada.
