Twenty-six welding students from Gateway Technical College toured the Local 601 Steamfitters Training Center in Milwaukee, WI. Representatives from Local 601 discussed apprenticeship opportunities and demonstrated modern welding technologies used in their training program.
The visit provided students valuable insight into union apprenticeship pathways and career opportunities within the piping, construction, and service trades.
