January 2020 Newsletter and Meeting Notice<\/strong>

Greetings North Texas Section Members,<\/p>

This month our meeting has been moved to January 28th<\/sup> to facilitate the starting of school and other community obligations. Please be sure to update your calendars.<\/strong><\/p>

Our speaker this month is District 17 Deputy Director and North Texas Chairman, Chelsey Morris. Chelsey will be discussing the AWS scholarship program and providing step by step instructions for applying. Scholarships are currently available and information on how to access them prior to the meeting can be found down below. All are invited regardless of education level or educational goals. There are scholarships out there for EVERYONE. Please be sure to attend this meeting so you can have the best shot at your share of over 1 million dollars in scholarship money!!<\/p>

Attending the meeting is always\u00a0free<\/strong>\u00a0and open to anyone.\u00a0 You do not need to be an AWS member to attend.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>

Bring 2 cans of food for the Irving Cares, a partner of the North Texas Food bank, and receive 1 ticket for the drawing to be held at the end of the monthly section meeting!<\/p>
