Greetings North Texas Section Members,<\/p>

Join the AWS North Texas Section as we provide step by step instructions for completing the AWS\u00a0National, District, and Section\u00a0level\u00a0scholarships<\/h3>

This informative meeting will make applying for scholarship money easier on those who need it. Last year AWS gave away 1.2 million dollars in scholarships to students attending junior colleges, tech schools, universities and more. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn all about the scholarship program and how to navigate the application portal.<\/p>

Pizza will be served for those who order in advance for $5. (Cash or Card payment the night of the event) If you are interested in having Pizza and a Beverage you will need to RSVP no later than Monday, December 3rd at 5:00 pm.
You may RSVP by emailing northtexas@awssections.org<\/a><\/p>

Dinner: served at 6:30 pm (RSVP required<\/strong>)
Presentation: 7:00 pm (FREE to attend)<\/p>

Attending the meeting is always\u00a0free<\/strong>\u00a0and open to anyone.\u00a0 You do not need to be an AWS member to attend.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>

2 cans of food for the North Texas Food bank and receive 1 ticket for the drawing to be held at the end of monthly section meetings!<\/p>

Tim Hatten Memorial CWI Scholarship<\/strong>
This scholarship is for those of you who meet the minimum qualification to become CWIs. It will cover the cost of your exam while the you serve as the section representative in the seminar getting the knowledge and books for no cost. This is a great opportunity for the growth you’re looking for in your career.<\/p>
