Ladies and Gentlemen, Your AWS North Texas Section is hosting our silent auction fundraiser to support our Student Scholarship Program. All the funds raised from our silent auctions are used to fund the Scholarship Program. We’ll be at the Lincoln Tech Campus in Grand Prairie located at 2501 E. Arkansas Ln, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. If you or someone you know is in need of welding supplies, come see us or bring them to the auction to help support a good cause. Start your holiday shopping early! See the attachment for a list of items available in the auction. Dinner will be served starting at 6:15, we’ll be having a BBQ sandwich, potato salad, coleslaw and a drink. Please RSVP for the dinner by 5pm on November 5th so we can be sure to have plenty for everyone. Section Scholarships The Tim Hatten CWI/CWEng Scholarship is available for all North Texas Section Members who are interested in advancing their carriers and taking the next step. Visit the North Texas website at https://awssection.com/northtexas/scholarships/ to print out the application. Return a copy to Nazdhia and to the North Texas Section at northtexas@awssections.org for committee review. We are offering up to two (2) scholarships annually, this is a $2500.00 package for qualified individuals. |
