Event Summary: High school students from the Northern New York Section came together on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Capital Region BOCES in Albany, New York, to compete in the Section 5 welding competition. Participants worked through a series of welds, putting their skills to the test.
Competitors went after prizes, bragging rights, and a shot at representing their section at the upcoming New York State Thruway Cup Welding Competition.
