Event Summary: More than 50 members of the American Welding Society (AWS) visited Koike Aronson’s manufacturing facility in Arcade, New York, for an in-depth look at the design and production of welding positioners, CNC plasma cutting systems, and laser cutting machines.
The tour offered emerging welders and future industry professionals a comprehensive view of the manufacturing process—from raw material preparation to final assembly—highlighting the precision and safety considerations integral to each stage of production. Demonstrations showcased how welders utilize positioners to safely maneuver large weldments, thereby reducing physical strain and enhancing weld quality.
This educational visit provided welders with valuable insight into modern manufacturing practices and deepened their understanding of the engineering and craftsmanship that define the tools they may one day use in their professional careers.
