Event Summary: Standard Iron & Wire Works Inc presentation lead by Craig Dropik, Darrin Thompson, providing information on the company’s history, products and services. Following the presentation, attendees were provided a tour of the plant. The tour / meeting was open to all members, nonmembers, guests, local vendors.
Dale Szabla, AWS District 15 Director presented about the society, it’s opportunities and benefits of active involvement for members, students and instructors. Tim Schwanz, Deputy District Director and Northern Plains Section Scholarship Committee Chairman presented information about scholarship and grant opportunities available to students, instructors and institutions through AWS and the AWS Foundation.
