Presentation &#8220;Welding to a Higher Elevation&#8221;.<\/p><p><strong>Event Summary:\u00a0<\/strong>James Foster, Training Director, Ironworkers Local 623 provided a presentation on Ironworkers production and performance welding requirements, with similarities and differences between recognized welding codes and standards. The meeting was sponsored by Ironworkers Local 623. IW Local 623 also provided food and drinks for attendees which was prepared by Rougarou BBQ. There were several AWS Certified Welding Inspectors in attendance which provided some great dialogue between the presenter and meeting participants.
