During AWS President Polanin\u2019s visit to District 9, he was able to tour the Michoud\/NASA manufacturing facility near New Orleans, LA. Accompanying Dr. Polanin were Cal and Wanita Pepper (District 9 Director), Mike and Beverly Skiles (Director-at-Large), Anthony Blakeney (Deputy District 9 Director) and Students from Southeastern Louisiana University from Mr. Blakeney\u2019s and Mr. Pepper\u2019s Welding Technology Program (Carter Rusk, Brandon Penisson, Dawson Tullos, Wallace Smith, and Jeremy Larson). The group was able to view manufacturing of the newest rocket technology intended to return the United States to moon orbit and finally, moon landing and exploration.<\/p>
