November 16, 2021 – Plumbers & Steamfitters UA Local 60 Assembly Hall; Metairie, LA<\/p>
The New Orleans Section hosted it’s first in-person meeting since January 2020. As Louisiana struggles to recover from the effects of the pandemic, and the Welding Industry slowly adjusts to the new normal, the November General Meeting turnout was respectable with attendees ranging from Students to Retirees participating in the event. The meeting was sponsored by the Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 60, Ronnie Rosser, Business Manager. Matt Howerton, Western Regional Sales Manager for Lincoln Electric gave a very informative presentation on the latest automation available for the fabrication of structural steel. Mason Chapman, Technical Sales Representative with Lincoln Electric was in attendance and provided door prizes for all participants.<\/p>
