Event Summary:\u00a0<\/strong>The AWS New Orleans Section\u2019s March General Meeting was sponsored by Gas & Supply, Inc., Richard (Mousey) Chiasson, President. This month\u2019s speaker was Justin Parrish Airhart, Chief Operating Officer with SSE Steel Fabrication. Mr. Airhart provided a presentation on Humanoid Welding Robotics and the Future of Welding Fitting in a Shop Environment.
March is when we present our Section awards to those individuals who dedicate their time and leadership to the industry. This year\u2019s attending recipients were; Cathy Boucvalt – Section Educator Award; Alcindo Frye – Section Educator Award; Richard J Georgeon \u2013 Section Educator Award; Aldo Duron \u2013 Private Sector Instructor Section Award; Joe Carbo \u2013 Section CWI of the Year Award; DJ Berger \u2013 Section Meritorious Award.
