Event Summary: This was AWS New Orleans Section’s first meeting at the new state-of-the-art Delgado Community College River City Campus. Vice Chancellor Gross and Lead Welding Instructor Alcindo Frey gave a presentation on the importance of Industry Involvement and the impact of career opportunities that are available to welding students. A tour of the new facility’s welding lab and classrooms was provided after the presentation. Catering was by Rougaroux BBQ. The meeting was sponsored by Delgado Community College.
