Event Summary: On Wednesday March 11th, AWS section 137 met with students of Lenoir
Community College and surrounding schools for an evening of networking and
opportunities for students. Many vendors and employers were in attendance to
give students the opportunity to put hands on new products as well as network
with local employers. AWS presented about what they mean to students, why
students should join, as well as opportunities students could have through the
Society. Students were fed dinner and had the opportunity to win prizes in a
raffle put on by ARC 3.
6:15 – Cameron Kolb of Lenoir Community College begins the
meeting, and introduces the AWS board.
– Eric Braddy asks the blessing and dinner begins
6:45 – Charlse Newkirk begins presentation by introducing himself as
well as all of the vendors and employers in attendance.
