September Hybrid Meeting – 9/29

Join us for the September 2026 Nashville Section hybrid meeting at the TCAT Hartsville – Wilson County Campus for the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Quality Control Requirements Technical Discussion.

 

The speakers for September 29 will be ASME Inspector Duane Morrison and Nashville Section Chair Curtis Duncan. Both Duane and Curtis have many years experience working in the welding and pressure vessel industries.

 

The discussion will start with Quality Control Manual Content, and will include:

  • Drawings, Design Calculations, and Specifications

  • Material Control

  • Examination and Inspection Programs

  • Correction of Nonconformities

  • Welding Control

  • Nondestructive Examination

  • Calibration of Measurement and Test Equipment

  • Records Retention

This meeting should be useful for supervisors, engineers, QA/QC personnel, fabricators, contractors, CWIs, and Inspectors.
