On August 27, 2026, the Nashville Section’s Year Kickoff Meeting, will take place both virtually on Zoom and at TCAT Upper Cumberland at Cookeville Higher Ed Center in Cookeville, TN.
Come join us as we start the year with a review of AWS A2.4, Standard Symbols for Welding, Brazing, and Nondestructive Examination. AWS A2.4 establishes a method for specifying certain welding, brazing, and nondestructive examination information by means of symbols, including the examination method, frequency, and extent.
The evening will start with a social hour with dinner provided by TCAT Upper Cumberland at Cookeville Higher Ed Center, beginning at 5:00 PM CT. The A2.4 technical discussion will follow at 6:00 PM CT, presented by Curtis Duncan, Welding Engineer at the Y-12 National Security Complex.
