Director<br \/>Denis Talbot &#8211; Morgan City Section Chair<br \/>Joey Rentrop &#8211; Morgan City Section Vice Chair, Secretary &amp; Treasurer<br \/>Fletcher Technical Community College Sr. Welding Instructor, Tony Callais<\/p><p>Jon-Ray Falgout with Barracuda Specialty Services, Quality Manager and Corporate Level III, presented on Phased Array Weld Inspection to AWS D1.1<\/p><p><strong>Event Summary:\u00a0<\/strong>Anthony Blakeney, District 9 Director, shared several AWS updates and initiatives and kicked off the section&#8217;s restart.<\/p><p>Denis Talbot, Section Chair, presented CWI of the Year awards to Randy Theriot and Conrad Benoit at the meeting. Others receiving the awards but were not present were Craig Theriot, Randall Blanchard and Jon Pontiff.<\/p><p>The Section also presented Meritorious Awards to Jerry Verrett, past section chair, and Joey Rentrop, Section Vice Chair \/ Secretary for their continuous service to the organization.<\/p><p>Attendees enjoyed the Technical session on Phased Array Weld Inspection to AWS D1.1.<\/p><p>Meeting ended with a wrap up by Denis Talbot with plans for future section meetings and events and door prize giveaways.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
