General call to order by Chairman, Denis Talbot and made a few announcements including introducing or mentioning new section leadership in attendance and reviewed upcoming section meetings.
Fletcher Technical Community College representatives provided an overview of the overall programs and degrees offered as well as specifically speaking about their welding program and their AWS ATF accreditation.
The Lincoln Electric representative presented new welding technologies, including Cobot welders, new SAW welding methods with long stickout, Laser welding and Hyperfill welding with Fluxcore welding.
After the presentations were concluded, the attendees were provide a tour of the welding lab and work areas.
