There were 33 in attendance. Immediate Past Chair of the Mobile Section, Jody Heusman conducted the meeting. <br \/><br \/><\/p><p>Dalton Lehman was recognized for being selected as this years recipient of the Paul \u201cJerry\u201d Betts Memorial Scholarship.<br \/><br \/><\/p><p>It was a surreal evening as we honored the legacy of Mr. Ron Pierce who passed away earlier this year. Guest speakers included family, friends &amp; co-workers celebrating his 60 years as an AWS member, longtime AWS Mobile Section Executive Committee Member, as well as a Past AWS National President. Mr. Pierce was a great leader and mentor in the welding community and will be missed by many. The Mobile Section was blessed to have him as a member of the section for so many years.<br \/><br \/><\/p><p>A special thanks goes to Monica Pfarr, Executive Director of the AWS Foundation, for taking the time to visit and join us at the meeting.
