The American Welding Society is honored to award the 2019-20 District 9 and Mobile Section Annual Educator Award to Paul Richardson, Welding Instructor at Haney Technology Center in Panama City, Florida.<\/p>\n
The American Welding Society (AWS) District and Section Educator Award is given as a means of recognizing high school, trade school, technical institute or community college instructors whose teaching activities are considered to be exceptional in advancing the knowledge and skills of welding to students in their respective schools.<\/p>\n
The nominee is selected at least 12 months in advance.\u00a0 Selections are made during the annual District Conference meeting.\u00a0 Only 2 awards are allowed annually per District.\u00a0 AWS District 9 covers most of Louisiana, the southern half of Mississippi and Alabama, and the Florida panhandle.<\/p>\n\n\n
