3/18/2021 AWS Mobile Section Executive Committee Meeting Recap

The AWS Mobile Section held its first Executive Committee meeting on March 18th, the first since June of 2020. With Covid-19 restrictions in place the committee has been taking care of business via email. Now that restrictions are being lifted the team hopes to be able to have more in person meetings. Additionally, plans are being made to resume with monthly in person membership meetings as well.

Since in person meetings were put on hold, the Executive Committee decided to present AWS Section and District Awards for 2020, to its recipients at the Executive Committee meeting. Derrick Lett received the award for Section Educator of the Year and Chris Pawlowicz received the Section Meritorious award. Both awards were presented to the recipients by Jody Heusman, Mobile Section Chairman.

Instead, both Greg and Jeff were presented with their awards by their father, Mr. Ron C. Pierce, AWS Foundation Chairman & Trustee Emeritus, at his home. Both Greg and Jeff were delighted to have their awards presented to them by their dad.
