Scholarships range from $3,000 \u2013 $5,000+.<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aws.org\/foundation\/page\/district-scholarships\"><strong>District Scholarships<\/strong><\/a><strong><br \/><\/strong>A minimum of $15,000 is available in each of AWS\u2019s 22 Districts for students pursuing a degree or certificate in a welding or welding-related program. Scholarships typically range from $1,000 to $2,500+.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aws.org\/foundation\/page\/section-named-and-district-named-scholarships\"><strong>Section and District Named Scholarships<\/strong><\/a><\/p><p><strong>BAE Systems Louisville Section Scholarship<\/strong><\/p><p>Scholarship provided by BAE Systems enable students to learn the necessary skills to achieve their welding technology or welding engineering certification and apply their expertise in the country&#8217;s future workforce.<\/p><p><strong><em>Criteria:<\/em><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Student must have a minimum 2.5 GPA<\/li><li>Be enrolled full time<\/li><li>Be a citizen of the US<\/li><li>Reside in the Louisville, KY area<\/li><li>Pursuing a Bachelors, Associates or Certificate Program<\/li><li>Pursuing a welding major<\/li><\/ul><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aws.org\/foundation\/page\/welder-training-scholarship\"><strong>Welder Training Scholarship<\/strong><\/a><br \/>For students seeking welder training in a certificate program less than two years in length through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training.
