January Event Recap:
At our previous Long Island AWS section event, we were delighted to host a diverse gathering of welding industry professionals for an engaging roundtable discussion. The meeting drew participants from across the spectrum of our field, including rig welders, NDT Level III inspectors, representatives from Con Edison and the Ironworkers union, early-career professionals, and individuals exploring career transitions into welding.
The evening proved to be exceptionally productive as attendees shared insights about their current projects and industry experiences. Our discussion covered upcoming section events and highlighted compelling statistics about the industrial diversity within our Long Island membership. The collaborative atmosphere allowed for valuable exchange of technical advice and professional guidance among peers. We extend our sincere appreciation to all the experienced professionals who contributed their time and expertise, making this event particularly successful and beneficial for all participants.
