We hope this email finds you well. It’s time for 2026 elections for the AWS Long Beach / Orange County Section Executive Committee open positions. A section nominating committee was formed and proposed the following regular nominees to fill the open positions for the next term (June 1st 2026 – May 31st 2027):
- 1st Vice-Chair – Damon Skinner
- Secretary – Linda Thomas
Nominees for the open positions will also be accepted by petition.
If you are interested in running for an open position, please email LongBeachOrangeCounty@awssections.org by Monday, April 6th at 11:59 PM with the following:
1. Completed Nomination by Petition for Executive Committee Position Form Self-
Nomination for an Executive Position (see form below).
You are required to have an active non-student membership in the Long Beach / Orange County Section.
2. 10 signatures of members in good standing from Long Beach/Orange County AWS section supporting your nomination (page 2 of form below).
Note that individuals with student memberships are not eligible to nominate or serve in executive positions.
