September 21, 2021 – The Center for Metal Arts – Johnstown, PA<\/p>
The Johnstown\/Altoona Section toured the former Cambria Iron Blacksmith shop, a national historic landmark, which operated from the 1860s to the 1990s. The shop is now home for The Center for Metals Arts, a blacksmith and forging workshop offering educational classes and events for blacksmiths from around the country. Attendees witnessed a forging demonstration which showcased specific techniques used by blacksmiths.
