Event Summary: Members of the American Welding Society Houston Section joined by guests from The Mars Society, North Houston Space Society (NSS), and STARFLEET International, were hosted to a tour of the one of the fabrication facilities which included a review of welding, machining, and joining operations for space applications. Details of the first Commerical Space Station were discussed including crew habitat and a fabrication module.
