Due to the current conditions in our region, the meeting for 22 October is cancelled.
The AWS Holston Valley Section be hosting the 1st event for this 24-25 section year on the 22nd of October, 2024.
This meeting will be a great opportunity to spend some time with others with similar interest, enjoy some food together, and learn about some welding equipment.
Our meeting is tentatively scheduled as follows.
5:30-6:15 PM EST A short meeting to discuss section business and take any input from interested section members that will assist section officers with future meeting ideas. We are also looking forward to meeting members that may be interested in becoming an officer in the AWS Holston Valley Section.
6:15-7:00 PM EST-Dinner Provided by the AWS Holston Valley Section. This will be a great opportunity to network with other industry professionals.
7:00-8:00 PM EST– Presentation and Equipment Demonstration by TipTig USA
Students who are AWS Members and 16 years of age or older are welcome to come.
If you want to watch the welding in the shop, appropriate clothing and PPE will be required. We will have some safety glasses and loaner hoods for use.
