The American Welding Society (AWS) Hawaii Section 020 is announcing a Special Section Election to be held virtually on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 10AM, to fill several key leadership positions within our Section.
We are seeking dedicated volunteers for the roles of Chair, 1st Vice Chair, 2nd Vice Chair, and Secretary, along with additional opportunities to support the Section in various capacities.
Serving as a Section Officer offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate leadership, develop new skills, and contribute to the growth of our local welding community, and all members are encouraged to participate regardless of tenure or industry experience.
In accordance with AWS recommendations, this announcement is being provided in advance to ensure transparency, allow full participation, and provide time for additional nominations. A Zoom link is provided below for members who wish to attend the special election virtually.
