Event Summary: The White Mountain Community College welding department hosted their first annual Welding Instructor Professional Development Day at their campus in Berlin, NH on Friday April 12th. There were approximately 43 people in attendance including, 26 instructors, students, industry representatives, faculty and guests. The event was well received and valuable for content and the continued professional development of welding instructors. There were hands on instruction sessions with welding and cutting processes and some classroom sessions focusing on AWS information, instructor techniques, and current welding industry updates. The WMCC team of Mike Pike, Johnathan Mullins, Kyle Aubut, John Holt, and Asemina Georgiadis provided the instructors and other attendee’s a very organized and informative event that is planned to be held again in 2025. This event was held to coincide with National Welding Month.
