March 2018 Meeting Announcement<\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

Join us March 27th for Dale Floods Talk on the Mechization of the Welding Industry<\/p>

We are pleased to announce that the speaker for March will be the:<\/p>

AWS President Dale Flood, speaking on the\u00a0Mechanization of the Welding Industry<\/em>\u00a0–<\/strong><\/h1>

Dale started as a Pipefitter\/welder, worked as a weld superintendent at several nuclear facilities supervising manual and mechanized welding operations. Currently working as a Welding Project Manager, he has numerous patents for welding automation.<\/p>

As President of the American Welding Society (AWS) he serves on the Board of Directors, a member of the D10 Committee on Piping and Tubing, the D10U Sub-committee on Orbital Pipe Welding, is on the Sacramento Section Executive Committee, and numerous other professional development committees.<\/p>

He previously served as the AWS District 22 Director covering northern California and Nevada, an AWS Director-at-Large nationally and as an AWS Certified Welding Inspector exam supervisor.<\/p>
