Event Summary: Women In Welding Day was hosted at Polytech High School on October 4th, 2025. Mary Majchrzak was the guest speaker and lead instructor of the event where she shared her story with being in the welding industry and showed the participants how to make Dragonflies out of metal. Mary was assisted by Bethany Owens who taught the participants how to do tack welds and stringer beads in the MIG/GMAW process. The event was well attended and the section can’t wait for next year’s Women In Welding Day.
