Event Summary: District One held their District Conference on the weekend of May 2nd to may 4th, 2025 at the Grappone conference center in Concord, N.H. There were 23 district one section officers, leaders, and guests present for the meeting on Saturday, the 3rd of May. The conference host section for this year was the Connecticut section chaired by Al Moore. The conference started on Friday evening with a meet and greet social time orchestrated by Al Moore highlighting interesting welding and inspection projects over the past 12 months. Saturday was a full meeting day followed by an appreciation dinner in the evening. Sunday morning was the conference completion and departure after a sit-down full breakfast. The AWS national staff representative was Sonia Kelly, AWS e-learning coordinator in Miami. The conference was successful and enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
