Event Summary: A joint meeting of the AWS district one Connecticut, CMRI, and Boston sections and the ASNT Connecticut Yankee and Narragansett Bay sections, was held on March 12th, 2025 at the Groton Elks Lodge, Groton, Conn. The meeting was a technical session covering RT (radiographic testing) in the oil and gas industry on the Alaska pipe line for maintenence and new construction of pipeline components. Presented by Dave Waitkus, AWS CWI, CRI, and ASNT Level III. Also, the use of digital, computed and film RT for manufactured castings that are used in the aerospace and industrial gas turbine industries. Presented by Xuriah Harbaugh, NAS410 NDT Level III, Certified Digital Radiographer.
