Presentation:<\/p>

Kevin Arnold, IPG Photonics Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest, presented its LightWELD 1500, the
newest laser welding technology with the ability to replace many TIG and MIG welding applications in the
fabrication and general manufacturing industries. Previously laser welding has been the mainstay of
aerospace, automotive, medical device manufacturing, and other industrial applications that demanded high
weld speeds, low heat input, and low distortion.<\/p>

Demonstration:<\/p>

Joe Roy, IPG Photonics Product Engineering Specialist demonstrated the LightWELD 1500 handheld laser
welding system. He taught each person at the meeting how to use the LightWELD 1500. Everybody at the
meeting had the opportunity to make their own hand held laser weld and leave with the plates they welded
together.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
