Be prepared for our Annual Christmas Party and Auction by bringing your donations and your cash, check book, or credit card to the holiday event. We will accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. For many years the Cleveland Section named scholarships have continued to assist students learning to weld, students enrolled in four-year university degree programs, and career welders learning a new process, or returning to college and this auction is the primary fund raiser for scholarships. These three named scholarships, the John Gerken, the Jack Buck, and the Ray Sacha, represent members of the Cleveland Section who not only devoted time and energy to the welding industry but donated money to create scholarships. Each has a specific focus. The Gerken Award assists a student attend study a welding related program at a community college or university level for up to four years. The Buck Award lends a hand to a student developing pipe welding skills at the Lincoln Electric Welding School. The Sacha Award encourages a student to develop welding skills at the Lincoln Electric Welding School before or during the pursuit of a post secondary degree in a welding related program. The OE Meyer Scholarship Plus, the Section administers general scholarship funds available for qualified candidates.

Remember, with a reservation its $30 per person or $55 dollars per couple, without a reservation it is $35 per person. Cut off for reservations is December 4th. |
