CTEC High School in Fresno California held its first annual “Women Who Weld” contest. AWS leaders Randy Emery, Kerry Shatell and Rob Purvis served as judges and technical support. $1,000.00 AWS scholarships were awarded to the top two finishers. The event included 16 young lady welders from various high schools throughout the Central Valley.
