Event Summary:\u00a0<\/strong>The AWS Central Arkansas Section held its 2025 Thomas B. Schueck \/ Stephen E. Harrison Memorial Bass Tournament on March 22, 2025 at Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa in Mount Ida, Arkansas. The tournament raised $32,000 for the section\u2019s AWS Scholarship funds. $16,000 will go to the Stephen E. Harrison Memorial Scholarship fund, and $16,000 will go to the Thomas B. Schueck Memorial Scholarship Fund. Both funds support Arkansas students attending Arkansas welding training programs.<\/p>

Tournament Winners were as follows:
\u2022 Winners were Chris Huselton and Travis Faulk with 21.55 lbs. Chris Huselton also won Big Bass with 5.67 lbs.
\u2022 Runners Up were Rick Cole and Chris McKinney with 14.91 lbs.
\u2022 Top Student Anglers were Ethan McPhail and Weston Wicker. At tournament time, Ethan and Weston were students at Arkansas Elite Welding Academy.<\/p>

The Central Arkansas Section hosts an annual Golf Tournament in the fall and the Bass Tournament in the spring. With the matching funds provided by the American Welding Society Foundation, these events have collectively raised over $600,000 for the Stephen E. Harrison and Thomas B. Schueck Memorial Scholarship Funds.<\/p>

The tournament raised $32,000 for the section\u2019s AWS Scholarship funds. $16,000 will go to the Stephen E. Harrison Memorial Scholarship fund, and $16,000 will go to the Thomas B. Schueck Memorial Scholarship Fund. Both funds support Arkansas students attending Arkansas welding training programs. Tournament Winners were as follows: \u2022 Winners were Chris Huselton and Travis Faulk with 21.55 lbs. Chris Huselton also won Big Bass with 5.67 lbs. \u2022 Runners Up were Rick Cole and Chris McKinney with 14.91 lbs. \u2022 Top Student Anglers were Ethan McPhail and Weston Wicker. At tournament time, Ethan and Weston were students at Arkansas Elite Welding Academy. The Central Arkansas Section hosts an annual Golf Tournament in the fall and the Bass Tournament in the spring. With the matching funds provided by the American Welding Society Foundation, these events have collectively raised over $600,000 for the Stephen E. Harrison and Thomas B. Schueck Memorial Scholarship Funds. Tournament Winners are Chris Huselton and Travis Faulk with 21.55 lbs. Chris Huselton also won Big Bass with 5.67 lbs.
